Today I went out and took photographs of form, this was quite difficult as I didn't look at what types of photos form would look like before so I wasn't sure what type of things I would take photos of. Also I couldn't find many things that looked like they represented form very well which made me think that it would be easier to take photo's in the studio.

Progression: Next time I will properly research what to take photos of that would look best, I will also try out different camera settings which might make the photos look better to explore the camera better. I will also take some photos in the studio.

I think this is one of my best form photographs, it shows form very well and I really like it personally, I don't think I'm the best at taking photographs of form and I preferred other subjects, I probably didn't research form well enough either so that might be why I don't have the best photographs.

I would say this is my worst form photograph, it doesn't really show form because there doesn't seem to be any shadow which would show the form of the object. I don't really like it at all honestly.

I like this photograph because it shows form very well, I like that it shows the light shining from the back right, it makes the shape very defined.

I like the lighting in this photograph, it makes the bike seem very reflective, it also makes the shape look very 3D, some photographs look very 2D because the lighting is straight on and that makes the subject have no shadows on it so it looks flat.

This photo shows a lot of form, I love that you can see the bones in the back and that the lighting means that the bones cause shadows, I also like the curve of the light acres the leg, it makes the photograph very 3D and I like that I can tell that it's not just a flat photograph.

I found this photograph, I think that it shows form pretty well, we can see that the light is shining down on the subject from the top, this means that the shadow on the surface isn't too big and the back of the banana is darker, causing it to look more 3D.

This is a good example of form, although I'm not sure about the shininess, I think that might ruin it a bit. However, in my opinion, this shows form very well, the light shining on it causes a lot of reflection and brightness, which means we can see that its not flat.

Form is a three dimensional shape, such as a cube, sphere or a cone. Sculpture and 3D design are about creating forms. In 2D artworks, tone and perspective can be used to create an illusion of form.

This example of form isn't the best, I think it could show texture better, however it does show form, I like it because the depth of field is very well done, and I think that due to the lighting angle we are able to see that it is curved and has a form.

This is an example of the human form, humans and other animals can have beautiful forms, I love this photo because of how the lighting has made it look, theres lots more shadows that create a more 3D shape than if the light was straight on, I also like that it has been edited to be darker, it means you can see the small flaws better which in this photograph looks really good.

This is another example of the human form, however this time it is a female form, I like this picture because there is a lot of negative space, and the body has a lot of shadow, the lighting is quite subtle in this photo in my opinion. I love that you can see all of the muscles and bones. I think this photo is quite interesting as you don't usually see these sort of shadows on the human body form, it's not what a back usually looks like.
